School Fundraising North Haven CT, Hamden CT, Bethany CT

It’s always school fundraising time in Connecticut!  We all agree that school sports programs enrich the lives of the students and the community, but there is never enough money in the budget to cover all the expenses. Now  more than ever, schools need creative and successful fundraising programs in towns like North Haven, Hamden, and Bethany CT. Without a lot of work from the PTO and student body, sports such as lacrosse, baseball , softball and track might be at risk. After a long cold winter, we all look forward to Spring Sports season. The MCM Fundraising Team wants to help students and parents earn all the funds needed for sports and other critical programs in a fun and profitable way.

High School Sports Fundraising in New Haven County

In Connecticut, high school student athletes look forward to their Spring sports programs. Contributing factors to the high cost of High School Sports programs in North Haven, Hamden, and Bethany is the investment in equipment, although insurance and transportation to and from games is also expensive. Budgetary shortfalls threaten to eliminate these underfunded school athletic programs all over the state. Student athletes recognize the importance of earning funds needed to keep their programs alive and are willing to put in the time to earn money for their cause.

Elementary School Fundraising in New Haven County

Students in elementary school gain many benefits from participating in teams and groups. Students in North Haven, Hamden, or Bethany in the elementary grades may initiate fundraising efforts to raise money for programs where budgets fall short. In many communities throughout the country, budgetary constraints make fund raising necessary to pay for needed items, supplies, services and programs. The in-school and extracurricular activities in North Haven, Hamden or Bethany public elementary schools are expensive. Pushback from the taxpaying public to keep school budgets manageable may put important school programs at risk.

How Fund Raising builds character in elementary age students

Children at the elementary school level benefit from participation in the school fundraising process in many ways. The process of working toward a common goal as a group is a skill students will build upon throughout life. The individual students quickly learn to work as a valued member of their team. Children learn to listen to ideas, contribute their own ideas, form team goals, make decisions, make compromises, understand his role as a member of a group, and meet a challenge from the perspective of team goals. There is value in learning to adjust team plans in response to change, as well.

Money raised for North Haven, Hamden and Bethany elementary school equipment, supplies, and class trips benefits many people. Students who participate in fund raising take pride in their accomplishments, take ownership of a worthwhile cause, gain confidence and poise speaking on behalf of their cause, ultimately learn to help others. Early success boosts self-esteem, teaches critical thinking, and there is much to be gained in the pursuit of meeting or exceeding team goals.
